Concepta may be an atheist. And a nun. But she also considers herself the mother of Mission, a young Congolese girl whom she’s smuggled into Ireland.  When Mission is abducted by a gang of sex traffickers, her friend and fellow asylum seeker Hossein is powerless to help.  Distraught and desperate, Concepta and her assistant Florrie turn to local crime boss Dominic, Florrie’s one-time lover, to find Mission. But Dominic and Florrie are caught in the mire of their past. And Concepta is determined to succeed. What follows unleashes a chain of events where morality and darkness seem to sit on the same side of the one coin.
